Module 3: Material flow analysis

Module 3 shall introduce techniques and methodologies of Material Flow Analysis (MFA) of the built environment dynamic as an instrument to calculate demand and supply in the minerals mining industry in order to foster optimized planning in the context of mining and waste management activities. The output is projected as a forecasting tool suitable to analyze future demand for construction materials, future amounts of construction and demolition waste as well as for quantifying impacts of mining activities on land-use conditions in the hinterland provinces of Hanoi.
